UFC fighter Michael Bisping took matters into his own hands after a man stole his wife’s bag.

The retired MMA star shared details of the incident, which occurred while they were having breakfast in Paris.

Without hesitation, Bisping chased after the robber, showing his quick reflexes and UFC instincts.

Bisping’s account of the chase

Of all the people to target, a thief chose the wife of a UFC champion.

Retired MMA star Michael Bisping, 45, took to social media to recount how he pursued a man in Paris who had stolen his wife’s bag during breakfast.

In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) on October 1, Bisping, a former British mixed martial artist with 13 years in the UFC, shared the details while walking through the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles.

“Earlier today, I had to stop a crime,” Bisping began. “We were having breakfast in Montmartre when some guy snatched Rebecca’s bag and took off.”

Without hesitation, Bisping gave chase and caught up to the thief. “He had the bag hidden in a towel,” Bisping explained. “I got the bag back, and he didn’t speak a word of English.”

Bisping added the thief was visibly terrified.

“He was begging, saying ‘please, please, merci,’ so I let him go,” Bisping said, laughing. “But not before giving him a little kick on the way out.”

In the end, Bisping recovered the bag, and all was well. Wrapping up his story, he commented on the beauty of the Palace of Versailles, albeit crowded, before signing off with, “See you in a bit.”

“I didn’t do anything to him,” Bisping said, describing the thief’s terrified reaction.

“He was s**tting his pants, poor guy,” Bisping added, mentioning that the man pleaded for mercy before Bisping let him go. He ended the chase by giving the robber a “kick up the a**e.”
