An Indian woman miraculously came 'back to life' in a hearse just moments before her own cremation after her husband had declared her dead in an accident.

The strange incident took place in Berhampur, India, where the woman, Bujji Aamma, had suffered severe burns in a house fire on February 1.
Bujji Aamma's family faced financial constraints that prevented them from accessing further medical treatment, leading to a deterioration in her condition.
On Monday, her husband, Sibaram Palo, believing she had passed away, made arrangements for her cremation. A hearse was called to transport her body to the cremation ground.

However, while the funeral pyre was being prepared, a woman named K Chiranjibi, accompanying Bujji Aamma in the hearse, noticed that she had opened her eyes.
At first, they were shocked and frightened as they had never encountered such a phenomenon before. However, they soon realized that she was alive.
The driver of the hearse, Khetrabashi Sahu, who had collected Bujji Aamma's supposed 'body' earlier that morning, was summoned back to the cremation ground to pick her up, alive and breathing.

In Indian culture, the last rites and cremations hold immense significance, with specific rituals and traditions followed.
According to tradition, the body is typically laid on a grass mat or on the floor, symbolizing its connection to the earth.
Water is poured into the mouth of the deceased, candles are lit, and a rice bowl is positioned nearby. The body is then transported to the crematorium with the eyes covered.
Fortunately, Bujji Aamma's family overlooked the detail of covering her eyes, allowing them to witness her miraculous revival.
In a similar case that just occurred last year in Silchar, a newborn baby was mistakenly believed to be stillborn, with a death certificate issued.
However, at the crematorium, the baby unexpectedly began crying, revealing that it was alive.
