A family’s Christmas dinner was ruined when the supermarket mistakenly delivered frozen turkey dinosaurs instead of turkey bird for six.

This Christmas, a woman had a big surprise when her holiday dinner plans went very wrong.

Cassie Rule, a 34-year-old beauty therapist from Malvern, Worcestershire, ordered a turkey for her family Christmas dinner.

She planned to feed six people, but when her order arrived on Christmas Eve, she found something very unexpected.

Instead of the large turkey she expected, Cassie opened her order to find a bag of frozen turkey dinosaurs.

These dinosaur-shaped pieces of chicken are fun but not what you want for a traditional holiday meal.

Cassie was shocked and disappointed.

She had been looking forward to the festive dinner, but now her plans were ruined.

The woman disappointed over the turkey mistake

She explained that her family was excited about the Christmas dinner, and they had prepared everything in advance.

Her son, Charlie, who is 13 years old, was especially looking forward to the big one.

But when they saw the turkey dinosaurs, their hearts sank.

“We’re going to have to eat that; that is all we have now,” she said sadly.

The family had no time to find another turkey.

It was already Christmas Eve, and stores were closing for the holiday.

Cassie felt stressed and upset. She said, “I can’t spend Christmas Eve rushing around to find another turkey. It’s too late.”

The dinosaur shapes just wouldn’t be the same as a proper turkey.

She added: ‘It just won’t be the same without a proper turkey.’

Others share similar experiences

Cassie’s story is not the only one. Many people had problems with their Christmas dinners this year.

Some customers reported that their turkeys from supermarkets like Asda, Tesco, and Sainsbury’s were spoiled.

People woke up to find their turkeys had gone bad. They described them as “mouldy” and “rancid.”

This made many families very unhappy.

Social media was filled with complaints and photos of ruined turkeys.

One family shared a picture of their turkey that they had to throw away because it was no longer safe to eat.

Another family had their Christmas Eve turkey delivery canceled by Sainsbury’s, leaving them without a centerpiece for their dinner table.

This caused them to feel frustrated and disappointed as well.

Had a similar experience, with this shambles of a company.

Picked up Christmas food on the Friday 22nd only to be told some of it was missing. They offered inferior products as replacements, one user said.

Online shopping has it’s purpose, but I would never rely on it for the Christmas meal, the second user wrote.

If you are fit and able go to the shop yourself, I wouldn’t rely on anyone else to get it right! The third user said.

It serves her right for eating meat. My Christmas dinner was completely vegan and all the fibre makes for very productive faeces afterward.

Meat eaters’ stools are very sloppy and leave stains, another user said.

That’s why these people work in shops because they’re not smart enough to be trusted with real jobs, someone said.
