One morning, Malissa was late for work and decided to take a shortcut through the back street.
However, she did not know that on the way to work, she would save the life of an innocent creature.
Malissa said she saw a black garbage bag that appeared to be moving in the middle of the street. Without hesitation, Malissa approached the bag to find out what was inside.
She then tore open a corner of the bag and peered inside.
To her surprise and horror, she discovered a helpless puppy trapped inside the bag. The poor creature had been abandoned, left to suffocate and die.

At that moment, Malissa knew she had to act quickly to save the puppy's life.
As soon as the puppy saw the light and felt the touch of human hands, it began wagging its tail, expressing its gratitude and relief.
Malissa couldn't believe that someone could be so heartless as to abandon an innocent animal in such a cruel manner.
Shen immediately took the puppy to a nearby veterinarian to ensure it was in good health and had not suffered any injuries during the trapped.
The puppy, which had a collar on, was suspected to be owned by someone, making the act of abandoning it even more reprehensible.

Recounting the incident, Malissa expressed her disbelief and anger. "Who could do something like that to any animal? I don't care who you are; everybody loves puppies," she said.
The puppy is now named Hefty and found his forever home with Malissa and her family.
