Jenny Phenix, a 68-year-old mother of two from the US, was eagerly anticipating the Villa Vie Odyssey’s $332,000 cruise.

The cruise includes 425 destinations across 147 countries.

Jenny explainied : “We had been notified of one short delay, but nothing seemed critical and, of course, travel plans and hotel reservations had been made months in advance.”

After liquidating all her possessions to fund the trip, Jenny faced an unexpected setback when her private WhatsApp messages were leaked.

Jenny Phenix faced to ban

“Reports indicate that Jenny’s messages detailed her concerns about the cruise.

These included a four-month delay in setting sail.

The messages were shared with the ship’s owners, Villa Vie Residences.

Additionally, Kathy Villalba, the Chief Operating Officer, informed her that the company received numerous complaints.

These complaints were about her ‘continuous negativity and complaints.

Consequently, her contract was permanently canceled to protect the morale of other passengers.

Chief Executive Mike Petterson emphasized that Jenny’s messages violated multiple terms and conditions.

He stated, “The founding residents voted and agreed to uphold her suspension.”

Amid the delays, Petterson noted that Villa Vie has spent over $2 million on residents’ living expenses during the wait.

Passengers have been asked to book their own accommodations throughout Europe.

Compensation is being offered in the form of onboard credit.

Jenny expressed her emotional devastation over the situation.

She said: “I cannot even begin to explain the emotional devastation and the physical toll this has taken on me.”

“It was weeks before I cold talk about the situation and could even explain it to my children.

“It is still very hard for me to discuss, as I had the same dream everyone else on that ship does, and they took that from me, seemingly without a thought.

“I will have to stay with my daughter until I figure out a whole new plan for my life.” She added.

Additionally, she shared how difficult it was to explain the situation to her children.

She now plans to stay with her daughter until she can devise a new life plan.

Despite being partially refunded for her initial deposit, Jenny’s dreams of cruising around the world have been shattered.

The leaked messages and subsequent ban have left her feeling robbed of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

With the cruise now a distant dream, she hopes to find a new direction for her life.
