After a struggle, he managed to kill the snake.
After the frightening encounter, Thanat rushed to the hospital to get medical help.
The doctors examined his injury and told him that he did not need stitches because the wound was not deep.
They gave him a tetanus shot to prevent infection, and they assured him that he would heal in a couple of weeks.
Thanat felt fortunate that the snake was not venomous.
He mentioned that if it had been a cobra, the outcome could have been much worse.
