A woman amazes people by breastfeeding and caring for her dolls as if they were real babies, sparking widespread reactions.
Recently, a woman has drawn attention by breastfeeding her dolls and treating them as if they were real babies.
This unique approach has both fascinated and puzzled people around the world.
Woman breastfeeds dolls and cares for them like ‘real’ babies
Kelly Cunningham, a resident of Ronkonkoma, USA, decided to care for Reborn dolls as if they were her real children.
She shared that the desire to be a mother emerged within her when she bought a Reborn doll on her 27th birthday.
“I just couldn’t help but want to care for Jennifer like a real child,” Cunningham revealed.
Kelly described how she couldn’t resist wanting to care for doll Jennifer as if she were a real child.
“I can’t explain how it happened, but I suddenly got so attached to her and spent that week buying her clothes and eventually her own bed that sits next to the end of my bed in my room.”
“My dad explained to me it was normal to have that desire to be a parent now that I’m in my late 20s,
so I didn’t really question why I loved these dolls so much like real children,” she continued.
This has raised questions about the motives and emotions behind her actions.
Kelly faces numerous criticism for her unusual habits
While this has sparked criticism and condemnation from some, Kelly has embraced the criticism.
She mentioned that breastfeeding the dolls has upset some people, but she remains unfazed and doesn’t understand why it’s controversial.
To her, it’s simply feeding a doll.
Kelly also shared how this helps satisfy her maternal instincts and provides comfort to herself.
The Reborn dolls that Kelly cares for are not just toys but also therapeutic tools for those grappling with infertility, infant loss, or dementia.
She has expanded her collection and now cares for seven Reborn dolls.
This has helped her find confidence and comfort in expressing herself.
“I did my research with the Reborn community, so I already knew that breastfeeding a doll was frowned upon,” she said.
“Looking back on it I should’ve kept it to myself because I made a lot of people mad admitting it.”
“The way I see it, it’s just a doll I’m breastfeeding. I never understood why a woman’s boobs are so sexual that it’s frowned upon to talk about it.
If I was breastfeeding a real baby no one would say anything so why do people get so mad because I admitted I breastfeed?”
On social media, Kelly has shared videos of caring for these dolls and connecting with the Reborn community.
Despite facing judgmental looks and harsh words when out and about with the dolls, her social media presence has given her confidence and self-satisfaction.
“I don’t care anymore what people think,” she emphasized.
