These bodies, reported as 'non-human,' were showcased during Mexico's inaugural congressional hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), also known as UFOs, on September 12th.

The alleged discovery, believed to have an estimated age of 700 to 1,800 years old, was found in Cusco, Peru, by journalist and UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan. He, in conjunction with forensic scientists, unveiled these specimens during what he described as a 'watershed' moment.

Maussan contends that these mummified bodies, which he asserts to be 1,000 years old, represent one of the most significant discoveries in human history. However, skepticism abounds within the scientific community, with some suggesting that they are part of an already-debunked, perhaps criminal stunt.

Maussan, aged 70, asserts that the specimens were discovered around 2017 in Peru, near the pre-Columbian Nazca Lines, a mysterious collection of ancient geoglyphs.

Peruvian authorities, on the other hand, are now vigorously questioning the circumstances under which these objects, which they maintain are of terrestrial origin, left their country and came into Maussan's possession.

Culture Minister Leslie Urteaga has announced an investigation into the departure of what she referred to as pre-Hispanic artifacts, the alleged 'alien bodies,' from Peru. She revealed that a criminal complaint had been filed.

In response, Maussan has stated, 'I'm not worried. I have done absolutely nothing illegal.'

However, he admitted his inability to explain how the bodies arrived in Mexico.

The two corpses, presented within glass cases, exhibit elongated heads, three fingers on each hand, and a generally humanoid shape, including two arms and two legs.

According to El País, the two alien bodies with retractable necks and elongated skulls display characteristics more reminiscent of birds.

Additionally, according to the presenters, they were found to have strong, lightweight bones and no teeth.

During the congressional presentation, experts showcased purported X-rays of the specimens, emphasizing that one of them carried 'eggs' with embryos inside.

They further revealed the presence of implants made of cadmium and osmium metals, with osmium being an exceptionally rare element in the Earth's crust and considered the rarest precious metal.

Elsa Tomasto-Cagigao, a respected Peruvian bio-anthropologist, expressed her exasperation with these claims, referencing previous instances of purported discoveries that were found to be frauds.

Additionally, Julieta Fierro, a researcher at the Institute of Astronomy at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, raised doubts about the case, asserting that the details 'made no sense.
