A man who suffered from continuous migraines, which led him to visit the doctor, was shocked after discovering that a 4-inch knife blade had been lodged in his brain for over four years.
Li Fu from Yunnan Province, China, had been stabbed during a robbery in 2006, and the blade of the knife had become embedded in his cranium.
Despite receiving medical care for his injuries, doctors failed to detect the knife concealed deep within the 37-year-old's cranium.
Remarkably, it wasn't until Li visited a doctor to complain about his ongoing migraines that medical professionals finally made the grim discovery during a routine X-ray.
Li and his family were so shocked by the X-ray results, they asked for a second opinion before agreeing to let doctors operate.

He remarked that it was miraculous for Li to survive a head stabbing, let alone endure having the knife embedded in his brain for four years, adding, 'It's a medical miracle. The knife was almost intact when we removed it.'
He is presently in stable condition in the hospital.
