Fans of Elon Musk have erected a 30-foot-tall monument to their hero, valued at $600,000. The colossal sculpture portrays Elon Musk's head atop the body of a goat, perched atop a rocket.
This creative project was initiated by the cryptocurrency company Elon GOAT Token ($EGT), which intends to present the statue to Musk at his Tesla facility in Austin, Texas.
$EGT stated, 'Most people thought we would never do it, but after one year of building the time has come to bring it home to Elon.
'Really we just want to meet the guy and give it to him. After all, he is the most innovative human alive, hence the GOAT - Greatest Of All Time.'
The towering aluminum head, standing at 5 feet 9 inches, was crafted by Canadian metal sculptors Kevin and Michelle Stone.
$EGT further explained their motivation, saying, 'We built Elon Musk a $600,000 monument on the back of a semi-trailer in honor of his many accomplishments and commitment to Cryptocurrency.'
This monument originally made headlines in 2022, but it has recently resurfaced, gaining significant attention and numerous comments from users.
One person said: Love Musk but not this statue. The body looks terrible. It makes it look ridiculous.
A second said: It would have looked so much nicer, if they'd made Elon look more like the Sphinx, with a full goat body, lying down on top of the rocket. The goat body they made, looks creepy. It looks like a worm or Slinky or something. They did do a great job on the head likeness though.
A third commented: Should've kept the goat body out of it, looks weird and unfinished. I know GOAT stands for greatest of all time, but this is not good in religious circles...
Someone else said: They present this 'artwork' (being generous) in honor of Musk's support of cryptocurrencies on the day cryptocurrencies implode. We're talking geniuses here.
