In typical Oscars fashion, where mishaps seem almost customary - reminiscent of Jennifer Lawrence's stumble in 2013 - the 96th Annual Awards ceremony held on March 10 was no exception.
Nominated for Best Actress for her remarkable portrayal in "Poor Things," Stone had previously received acclaim for her performance at the Venice Film Festival premiere.
Her depiction of Bella Baxter, a character with a Frankenstein-esque narrative, captivated audiences, earning her a standing ovation.
Despite the wardrobe malfunction, the 35-year-old actor triumphed, winning the award and gracefully delivering her acceptance speech on stage.

"I'm so excited for Ryan and he just absolutely crushed it," she said. "So it was a blast, so it was worth the dress rip, you know?"
