A customer named Gage revealed how he got 100 free McDonald's meals

Gage, a self-proclaimed 'millionaire' businessman, shared his experience on a podcast, explaining how he has been able to get 100s free McDonald's meals over the past nine months.

The man claims ChatGPT did most of the work for him.

How did he get 100s of free McDonald’s meals?

His method involves stealing receipts from tills or tables and using their unique codes to fill in the McDonald's feedback survey.

Gage then uses AI to write fake complaints, describing a "horrible experience" at the fast food chain.

By expressing extreme dissatisfaction with every answer and using chat GPT to write a complaint and then submit the feedback to McDonald's.

According to Gage, within approximately 12 hours, a representative from McDonald's responds with one, two, three, or even four meal vouchers, completely free of charge.

However, due to the large number of negative reviews, Gage's local branch has now stopped providing him with receipts.

Gage's method slammed backlash on social media on its harmful to businesses

Viewers of the podcast expressed divided reactions to Gage's method to get 100s free McDonald's meals.

Some were shocked by his deception, indicating that it could lead to the closure of the branch due to numerous fake 'bad reviews'.

On the other hand, some argued that it doesn't harm anyone, while some pointed out the potential consequences for the franchise if customer satisfaction drops below a certain rate.

Providing honest feedback to businesses is crucial for their improvement and maintaining a fair customer experience.

McDonald's has not issued a statement regarding Gage's revelation.

We now know that a store's bad review may not be due to bad service, but is sometimes due to tricks that take advantage of the compensation policy of customers like Gage.
