Man Pretends to Be Dead to pursue his dream role as a lifeless body on CSI: Vegas

It all started with a simple idea – to fake his unique death.

But Josh's ultimate goal was to catch the attention of someone in the entertainment industry and land an acting role as he always expected.

321 Days of Pretending to be dead

During 321 days of pretending to be dead, Josh dedicated himself to his craft, spending hours perfecting his "dead" poses and creating realistic scenarios.

He would lie on the ground in different locations, from parks to parking lots, and even in front of famous landmarks. 

He also incorporated props and costumes to add depth to his performances.

Each video was carefully planned and executed, with the hope of catching the eye of a casting director or producer.

Josh's commitment to his deception was unwavering, even when faced with criticism and doubt from others. He continued to upload videos every day, determined to make his dream a reality. 

And as fate would have it, his persistence paid off unexpectedly.

Gets an acting Role on CSI after he attempts to fake a death for 321 days

After 321 days of pretending to be dead, Josh's efforts finally caught the attention of someone in the entertainment industry – the producers of CSI: Vegas. 

They had stumbled upon his TikTok videos and were impressed by his ability to convincingly portray a deceased individual.

They then reached out to Josh, offering him the opportunity to play a lifeless body in one of their episodes.

For Josh, this was a dream come true. Not only did he get to showcase his acting skills on a major TV show, but he also proved that his unconventional approach could lead to success. 

In an interview, Josh humbly admitted his lack of acting experience. However, by his dedicated practice and determination, he was able to demonstrate the role of a lifeless body convincingly.

 “I don’t like speaking on camera, but I can lie there and act like I am dead pretty easily. Having done more than 300 of these posts, I have progressed and gotten better.

At first, you could see me breathing, or the fake blood looked bad. I have gotten rid of using the blood and gotten better at holding my breath,” he said.
