Fans have speculated that numerous songs reference Matty Healy in some way.
Songs such as 'Guilty as Sin', 'Black Dog', 'Fresh out the Slammer', and 'The Tortured Poet's Department' are among those thought to be about him.
Healy and Swift's Brief Romance
Healy is believed to have known Swift for quite some time. The pair reportedly had a brief romance last year following Swift's split from Joe Alwyn.
In true Swift style, fans believe she's drawn inspiration from her recent romantic relationships, including her ongoing romance with NFL star Travis Kelce, for the lyrics of her songs.
Healy's response to the 'diss tracks'
The 'Chocolate' hitmaker has responded to the so-called 'diss tracks' on the album about him in a nonchalant way.
Healy was spotted in Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 24), where he was asked about Swift's new album.
When asked what he thought of the alleged songs about him, the 35-year-old replied: "I haven't really listened to that much of it, but I'm sure it's good."
Denise Welch responds to Taylor Swift's new album
Denise Welch, the mother of Matty Healy, has commented on Taylor Swift's new album. Healy, the lead singer of The 1975, has been a topic of conversation recently due to his connection with Swift.
Denise Welch, Healy's mother, took a similar approach when asked about the album.
During yesterday's show (April 25), the discussion turned to Swift.
Nadia Sawalha, another panelist, inquired of Welch: "Taylor Swift has got a new album out, have you heard it Denise?"
To which Welch responded with a quip: "I wasn't aware she had an album out at all. I haven't heard anything about it."
"Regardless, I wish her all the best," Welch added, shifting the conversation.
Following Taylor Swift's new album release, Matty's family gave a critical assessment of his ex, Taylor.
His aunt, Debbie Dedes, appeared scornful of Taylor's candor about her exes, including Matty. She told Daily Mail:
"She writes about all her relationships, doesn't she?
'"I don't think it will come as a shock to him at all. He's very happy in his new relationship so I'm sure he will be focusing on that.
"As my nephew, we know a bit more about what went on than has been in the press."
Additionally, Debbie claimed that Matty Healy is very happy in his new relationship.
Responding to the media, Debbie said that Matty Healy is focused on his relationship with his girlfriend, and that he has been too respectful to share publicly.
