Recently, a TikToker named Gabby (@SoggySpin4ch) shared a video of the car, questioning when it would move.
The post garnered significant attention, with people expressing their surprise at the car's prolonged presence.
Comments revealed that individuals had noticed the car for several months and even years, indicating that it had become a familiar sight in the area.
Amidst the speculation, one person provided a potential explanation.
According to them, the car is owned by a guest who has been residing in the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel since the beginning of the pandemic.
This individual supposedly encountered difficulties returning to their home country and decided to permanently move into the hotel.
The hotel staff allegedly permits the car to be parked there due to its aesthetic appeal.
"I actually work at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, the McLaren is owned by one guest who permanently moved into the hotel near the start of the pandemic because he was having trouble getting back to his country," one St Pancras Renaissance Hotel worker said.
Although these claims remain unverified, a member of the hotel staff hinted at their validity.
They mentioned that the McLaren belongs to a tenant who has been living in one of the hotel's apartments for several years.
While the owner's identity and nationality remain unknown, the staff member expressed admiration for the car and emphasized that the owner occasionally takes it out for a spin.
Remarkably, a used version of the McLaren 570s reportedly ranges in price from $119,998 to $179,995.
