Tesla Cybertruck owner faces $30,000 repair bill after crashing into neighbor's house

On social media, a viral video showed a Tesla Cybertruck causing an accident after losing control and crashing into a neighbor's house, gaining attention.

On the X platform, a user, @bfreshwa, revealed security footage showing the Tesla Cybertruck causing the accident.

The video has the caption: "Never even slowed down.  Skid marks are ~50'" In the footage, Tesla was seen uncontrollably down a narrow alley, despite the driver's frantic attempts to brake. The vehicle's back wheels locked up, but its forward momentum carried it into the home, causing significant damage.

The accident was captured on security video, showing concerns over vehicle safety and raising questions about Tesla's response to such incidents.

The video quickly went viral and sparked debate on social media.

In the comment selection, many viewers shared their thought about the incident. Some express their shock about integrity of the vehicle despite terrible accident. While someone criticized Tesla after claiming he underwent the Tommy Gun Trial,.

One person said: The brake should ALWAYS override every other control in the car. This seems absolutely idiotic

A second wrote: Cybertrucks weren't meant to be driven on "terrain"...

While a third commented: Did you try turning it off and turning it back on?

Someone else said: Story said slammed truck into house then wall. Was it a wall to house and was it your house or someone else's it slammed into,  and who’s paying the damages to fix it?

Another added: This could be the Accelerator Pedal recall, where the pedal gets stuck.

A Tesla Cybertruck was seriously damaged after an accident.

Photos shared post-accident reveal a cracked windshield, damaged bumper, and hood, estimated to cost around $30,000 in repairs.

The incident occurred mere hours after the driver took possession of the vehicle, sparking speculation about potential buyer's remorse.

After the incident, @bfreshwa requested that Tesla take some responsibility for the unexpected accident.

On X, they wrote: "We have reviewed logs and due to the terrain, the accelerator may or may not disengage when the brake is depressed.  As far as the back tires locking up eee are reviewing"

This incident adds to ongoing safety concerns surrounding Tesla vehicles, despite their innovative features and strong market presence.

This is not the first time Tesla Cybertruck sparked concern about issue related to potential accelerator pedal issue.

Previously, a Tesla owner left viewers stunned after sharing a video showing him slip and jam the pedal in a fully depressed position. 

In the footage, Tesla owner realized that fully pressing the brake would override the pedal, he found that whenever he released the brake, the car would accelerate again.

He said: So I stopped the car, put it in the park, and got out. At first, I thought the pedal was broken, but nope. I realized that this was wedged down here.' 

Though the owner remained composed and promptly stopped the car, he warned, "For someone prone to panic, this situation could be extremely perilous.
