"Every time I give it another try, and I end up really finding a connection with someone, something ends up happening," she says. This cycle has left her feeling defeated and ready to give up on dating altogether.

She acknowledges the cringe factor but hopes that her honesty will resonate with others experiencing similar struggles. "Cause, first of all, I hate crying, especially in front of people, cause I don't want to show my weakness and vulnerability," she explains. "But at the same time, somebody else has to relate to this. Because what the f**k, actually?"

Sarah's frustration reached a breaking point. She vowed to quit dating apps and declared herself done with the whole process. "I surrender," she sighed. The cycle of hope, connection, and eventual disappointment had worn her down.

The video quickly went viral and sparked debate on social media

One person said: First off, stop saying “like” every two seconds. Also, don’t go into each date thinking you’ll have a long lasting relationship leading to marriage. You will scare men off in a heartbeat which I think may be your problem.

A second wrote: Men in their 20s and 30s want to have fun, date and explore different women. If it turns into something more, then it has to be organic and not something you’re pushing onto them so you can settle down.

While a third commented: "Dating” or rather hook-up apps are the problem. If you want a real relationship put the phone down and look elsewhere, in the real world.

Someone else said: Not everything NEEDS to be put online honey. Whatever happened to calling your friend up & having a good cry & chat about how awful about whatever it is going on in your life.

Another added: I feel u. dating in ny is unforch + i think ppl have too many options and view ppl as replaceable so it’s a nonstop rapid cycle of ups and downs.
