A woman recently ended her relationship after discovering that her boyfriend had an unconventional approach to personal hygiene

Alexandra Clara, a model from Tampa, Florida, took to TikTok to share the shocking story, which quickly went viral.

The incident occurred when Alexandra visited her boyfriend's house and noticed a lack of toilet paper in the bathroom. Then, she kindly reminded him to restock.

But as the days turned into a week and her boyfriend failed to restock the toilet paper, Alexandra's annoyance began to grow.

"Years ago, I was dating this guy, and I went to his house and used the restroom and noticed he had no toilet paper in the bathroom. So I said, "Hey, you don't have any toilet paper,"' she said in the viral TikTok.

"And he was like, "Oh sorry," and I was like, "It's fine." For the moment it was OK because I always carry tissues in my purse.

"So I was like, "Make sure you pick some up when you go to the supermarket." And he was like, "Thanks for reminding me, cool," or whatever.

"Fast forward a week later and I'm at his house again and there's still no toilet paper. So I'm like, "Hey, I think you forgot to pick up the toilet paper." And he's like, "Oh yeah, sorry, I think I forgot."'

When they went to a nearby store later, Alexandra saw a chance to solve the problem and suggested they get toilet paper.

Her partner simply admitted that he never used toilet paper, which shocked her. He used wet wipes as a substitute for personal hygiene.

"We go to Target and I'm like, "Oh, while we're here let's get some toilet paper." This man dead** looks me in the eye and says, "I'm not gonna do that,"' she continued.

She emphasized her boyfriend stood firm, refusing to buy toilet paper and suggesting that she transition to using wet wipes as well

She uncovered the conversation, stating, "I asked him, 'Are you not going to buy toilet paper?' and he replied, 'No, I don't need it. I don't use it, so I won't buy it.'"

"When I expressed my concern, mentioning that I visit his place, he suggested, 'Why don't you just use a wet wipe?' I explained, 'I do use wet wipes, but I also prefer having toilet paper.'"

Furious with her boyfriend's refusal to buy toilet paper, Alexandra took matters into her own hands. She decided to purchase the toilet paper herself, stating, "I said OK and went and got my basket and got toilet paper."

At the checkout, they went to separate lines, with Alexandra purchasing her toilet paper and snacks while her boyfriend bought his items.

Upon returning to his apartment, Alexandra purposely left the toilet paper in her car. When the need arose for her to use the bathroom, she went outside to retrieve it. However, her boyfriend was unamused by her actions.

Alexandra decided to leave the toilet paper in her car, and when questioned by her boyfriend, she explained that she purchased it specifically for her use when visiting.

She made it clear that since he didn't use toilet paper and refused to buy it, it was now her toilet paper, and she would keep it in her car.

Alexandra couldn't move past the toilet paper disagreement and chose to end the relationship

Her story sparked a strong response, with many expressing shock at her boyfriend's behavior. Some criticized him, while others admitted they would have broken up on the spot

I would have left Target and gone straight home, one person commented

Girl, I would have just terminated it after his  "I don't use toilet paper," said another.

It's not just about toilet paper, it's about hospitality and caring for others, and making sure you prioritize them and make them feel comfortable, another explained.

Others point out that flushing wet wipes down the toilet is bad for the environment - and your plumbing.

Toilet paper dissolves quickly, while tissues, feminine hygiene products, and wet wipes can take weeks, months, or even years to dissolve; this is why wet wipes must be flushed, a former plumbing company wrote.
