Waking up with more than a hangover, Rene discovered several new – and questionable – designs adorning her body.

"The tattoo was meant to be a love heart with an arrow through it, but because it was so deep and the scarring, it looked like a hairy penis," she explained.

"I also got a few more that night from the same friend - a weird spirally thing on my leg with an R on it, and a love heart on my hand, another arrow on my foot, and a semicolon thing on my wrist.

After the incident, Rene also faced health risks that became immediately apparent.

The tattoos were not only unsightly but also dangerously deep, causing bleeding and soreness.

She took a trip to the hospital, where the doctor warned her about potential infection and lasting damage due to the improper tattooing technique.

She explained:"The doctor said it’s very dangerous, and I’m lucky I didn’t lose my arm because of how deep he tattooed it."

Rena spend $2,000 to rectify the situation

After the unfortunate accident, Rene has already spent nearly $2,000 transforming three of the tattoos into more intricate designs.

While she admits to keeping the tattoo kit (a self-proclaimed "hoarder"), Rene has sworn it off for future drunken escapades. "It's never going to end well," she wisely concludes.

This story is a cautionary tale for anyone considering getting a tattoo

Many are sharing their stories as a warning for anyone considering getting a tattoo, especially in an unprofessional setting.

It's crucial to choose a reputable tattoo artist who uses sterile equipment and follows proper safety protocols.

One person said: A law student who doesn't think about the consequences of their actions... let that sink in

A second wrote: Are we meant to believe that a law student decided to drunkenly get a tattoo and the solution after a change of heart was to spend $1700 to make it wider and bolder rather than spending half that amount to have it professionally removed?

While a third commented: That tattoo was so light and quite small, are we to believe a law student wasn't smart enough to have the tattoo removed? Great idea, make it more bold but just as ridiculous.

Someone else said: That’s the lawyer you want. A drunk who can’t handle her liquor who makes great decisions on the spot. LOL

Another added: Yeah, getting crazy tattoos is all fun and games until you grow up and need to get a real job, right?
