A viral video on social media has left numerous viewers stunned as it reveals a billionaire paying a man's NYC rent for 3 months.

Money matters, and for this lucky New York City resident, that seems to be saying a lot. As the cost of living in cities reaches dizzying levels, people are looking for creative ways to manage sky-high rents.

Flavio is a Western villager who claims he was lucky enough to find a billionaire donor willing to pay his housing bills.

However, worried people on social media fear Flavio may be about to lose this golden opportunity.

Flavio shared his remarkable story in a viral TikTok video. The video has the caption: “[This is] How I’m not paying rent for 3 months in [NYC],”

The mustachioed Gen Zer explained to an audience of 111,000: “There’s this mega-mansion they’re building in front of my street. And it’s, like, worth, like, $50 million,”

A few months ago, he spotted a famous billionaire walking around the neighborhood and had almost forgotten about it until he received a letter from the anonymous tycoon.

“The letter said, ‘There’s family members [of this person] that are joining your community,’” he recounted. “‘They’re moving in this weekend … and this other weekend something else is happening at their house.’”

The letter also stated that they knew the amount of his rent and were willing to pay one month's rent.

However, Flavio decided to take a gamble and demand three months' rent after discovering that the billionaire's net worth was much higher than the cost of rent.

To his surprise, the billionaire's team agreed to his request, but only if he signed a confidentiality agreement promising not to reveal the billionaire's identity or details of the deal. However, Flavio chose to renege on the agreement and share the news online.

The digital followers warned Flavio of the potential consequences of his actions, advising him not to jeopardize his luck. Some urged him to delete the video after February, suggesting the billionaire could withdraw his funds and take legal action for violating the agreement.

But Flavio remains unfazed by their concerns and insists he received the money from the billionaire's representatives and insists he will be fine.

In a follow-up post, Flavio revealed that his viral video unexpectedly earned him an extra $5,200. Despite backlash urging him to delete the video, his wide-ranging confession generated significant revenue through TikTok views.

A second wrote: My father lived in the same NYC building as a VERY famous couple when they got married. They paid for every tenant to stay at a hotel for the weekend.

A third commented: Thank you for posting this, living in New York there are so many out-of-touch wild experiences. People don't believe things like this happen.

Someone else said: That's insane! How amazing - I wonder how they would know if you actually left the apartment though
