Under the leadership of Palmer, Blue Star Line, named after the renowned British shipping company, is overseeing the creation of a vessel that promises to deliver an authentic Titanic experience.

The ship's dimensions are 269 meters long and 32.2 meters wide, with a weight of 56,000 tons and a total of nine decks.

According to Blue Star Line, the vessel will boast 835 cabins, comprising 383 1st class, 201 2nd class, and 251 3rd class accommodations, accommodating a total of up to 2,435 passengers.

Supporting Blue Star Line in this ambitious project is Deltamarin, a company specializing in ship design, offshore engineering, and construction support.

The new ship is being designed with the same interiors and cabin layout as the original Titanic but with modern safety measures, navigation methods, and 21st-century technology.

It will feature luxurious comfort and amenities, including a diesel engine instead of coal and four smoke stacks reminiscent of the original ship.

During a recent press conference at the Sydney Opera House, Palmer emphasized the involvement of top cruise ship designers to ensure a meticulous and superior specification compared to the original Titanic.

He described the new ship as a symbol of love and the epitome of style and luxury.

Why did Palmer build a ship that recreates the Titanic more than a century ago?

Palmer believes that building the ship is a necessary endeavor due to the legendary status and symbolic significance of the original Titanic, which is associated with mystery, intrigue, and respect.

Palmer considers Titanic II a potential catalyst for peace, fostering harmony among nations.

Furthermore, Palmer acknowledges the millions of people who have dreamt of traveling onboard the Titanic.

He describes the ship as a means to fulfill those dreams and provide passengers with an exceptional journey back in time, immersing them in the lavishness and grandeur of life aboard the original Titanic.

Palmer expressed his enthusiasm for building the ship, stating that it is much more enjoyable than simply staying at home and counting his money.

He posed the question, "Why not do it?" and confidently declared, "I'm 70, I'm gonna do it."

In a recent statement, Blue Star Line announced that the design of Titanic II is being finalized. Addressing concerns about the project's progress, Palmer expressed delight in resuming the initiative after unforeseen global delays.
