A black bear disrupted the atmosphere of a family picnic by jumping on the table and gobbling their food.

Camping is always a favorite outdoor activity for many people, but sometimes it also becomes a horror that you cannot forget.

Similar to a Mexico family, their picnic is unexpectedly ruined after a black bear crashes into and gobbles their food.

A seemingly wonderful family picnic is ruined by a black bear attack.

While the family was camping at Chipinque Ecological Park in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, a huge black bear appeared, jumped on the table, and enjoyed their food.

Although they were very scared, they couldn't do anything and just sat in silence watching it devour the banquet table.

The horrifying moment when the black bear appeared

The bear seemed to not be full after devouring a table of Mexican traditional food for more than 2 minutes.

It then continued to find through the next table before jumping down, carrying another tray of food, and leaving without attacking anyone in the family.

The mother tried to protect and cover her son's eyes so he wouldn't have to witness this horrifying event.

Recounting the frightening incident, Silvia Macías said: "Santiago is very afraid of animals, a cat or a dog, any animal scares him a lot. I didn't want him to see it and scream or run. I was afraid that if he got scared or screamed, (it would) scare the bear."

She also felt lucky that the bear was only interested in its lavish meal and did not attack anyone in her family.

Based on the Autonomous University of Nuevo León reports, at least 38 black bears are living in this area.

Another report about a bear crashing into a family picnic to find food.

In contrast to the aggressive bear in Mexico, the bear in Maryland, USA seemed more different when he approached a family picnic to beg for food with a gentle attitude in April 2023.

Sharing about their daring contact with the bear, this family claimed that they were all scared at first but then realized that the bear was just looking for something to eat and had no intention of attacking, so they could safely enjoy their picnic.

One of the family members even reached out and stroked the bear's face, expressing their peaceful attitude to the bear.

Although people were still safe, they received a lot of criticism for getting too close to wild animals, especially unpredictable creatures like bears.

What should we do if we encounter a bear?

According to the US National Parks Service, you should stay calm, try to keep silent, or talk with them in low tones, and never mimic bear's sounds.

If you have kids, you have to immediately pick up them and don't let them scream or cry out loud. Slowly move away from the bear without making loud noises.

Bears are often sensitive to all noises and mistake them for the sounds of a predator or another prey. Therefore, they tend to chase and attack fiercely if agitated or frightened by those sounds.

The most important warning is do not try to run if you are suddenly attacked by a bear because they're definitely faster than you.
