A woman who became famous for her 'not real' incident on a plane has returned to fly an aircraft.
Tiffany Gomas, who went viral on social media after having a meltdown on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Chicago in 2023, shared a video on X showing herself in the co-pilot's seat of a plane.

In the video, Gomas can be seen sitting in the co-pilot's chair as the pilot in the cockpit says "we're climbing.'
Gomas then asks the pilot if he wants to take back control, but he declines, letting her fly the plane for a bit longer.
To explain this action, Gomas wrote on X that they were at an altitude of 10,000 feet, so this was a 'non-critical phase of the flight.' she also said that it was just her family on this flight, not a commercial one.
While there are still some concerns about allowing a regular person to fly a plane, Gomas has tried to clarify that she only flew it for a few minutes and that it was not a long-haul flight.

Gomas, a marketing executive in Dallas, explained that she had accidentally gotten into a 'minor argument' with another passenger, and the situation spiraled out of control quickly.
She admitted this was not her 'finest moment' and felt deeply embarrassed.
She explained the reason she didn't speak out earlier was that it was 'too hard to face.'
Additionally, when asked about her famous quote "Motherf***er back there is not real", Gomas said she couldn't see anything, and the remark was directed at the man she was arguing with.
Gomas did not go into the specifics of the argument, only saying she gave up her aisle seat because she is only 5 feet tall, with a snippy voice.'
She also shared that she had hoped the viral diarrhea video of a Delta passenger would overshadow her own in-flight incident.
After the video went viral online, Gomas said she was too afraid to go out for 4 weeks, not knowing how to deal with this unexpected fame.
