A flight expert warned against wearing leggings on flights due to the risk they pose. Additionally, she advised passengers not to wear shoes while in the air.

Christine Negroni explains the reason why passengers should never wear leggings on a plan
In the interview, Christine Negroni explained the potential risks of getting cozy on long-haul flights, emphasizing the importance of safety in case of emergencies onboard.
She explained: 'You might have to escape through a cabin fire or there could be a separate fire on the ground once you leave the aircraft.
She also warned that passengers should not wear yoga pants on planes.
Additionally, she advises against wearing yoga pants or other artificial fibers, noting their higher flammability and potential to stick to skin in case of fire.
She said: 'Everyone is wearing yoga pants on planes now, but I avoid all artificial fibres because they are more likely to burn and stick to you if there is a fire.'
Additionally, she advised against removing shoes in the same situation.
The flight expert stated that if you take off your shoes, you could increase the possibility of encountering hazardous conditions during evacuation.
"If you escape an aircraft," she continued, "the floor could be hot, cold, oily, or on fire, making barefoot evacuation uncomfortable and unsafe."
Another flight attendant explained that you should never wear shorts on a plane.
Additionally, a flight attendant shared a video on TikTok, revealing the reason why you should not wear short shorts on a plane.
On the TikTok account @tommycimato, flight attendant Tommy Cimato from Arizona explained that while people may want to be comfortable while flying, wearing shorts is a big no-no
He explained: 'Don't or try not to wear shorts when you're on an airplane. It's the same thing as the window. You never know how clean it's gonna be, so if you have pants, you're gonna have less germ'.
'It's honestly just super unsanitary and pretty gross, so when you flush, use a napkin or tissue that's in the lavatory.'
Additionally, Tommy also explained why passengers should avoid falling asleep or resting their heads on the window.
In the footage, he pointed out that it's unknown how many individuals, including children, may have touched or smeared things on the window.
He continued: "Don't feel afraid to let a flight attendant know if you're feeling sick. So if you need food, water, or an air sickness bag, please feel free to let us know."
Tommy's sharing sparked debate on social media. While several users agree with his explanation, some others express their skepticism.
