While Depp recently won a defamation trial against Amber Heard, controversies seem to continue to surround the 60-year-old actor.

The director of Johnny Depp's latest movie has made claims that crew members were "afraid" of the actor, adding to the controversies surrounding him. 

Despite these allegations, the director stands by her decision to cast Depp in the film.

Johnny Depp was accused of verbal abuse by his co-star.

According to a recent article, the director of Johnny Depp's latest film has made claims that the crew members were "afraid" of the actor

However, despite these allegations, the director stands by her decision to cast Depp in the movie. 

In the past month, Depp's co-star from the film "Blow," Lola Glaudini, came forward accusing him of verbal abuse.

Glaudini alleged that during a scene where she was instructed to laugh at one of Depp's lines, he confronted her, using offensive language.

However, Depp's representatives responded by stating that he prioritizes good working relationships with the cast and crew, and other members on set at the time had different recollections of the events.

The director of Johnny Depp's new movie, Maïwenn Aurélia Nedjma Le Besco, also known as Maïwenn, talked about her experience working with him. 

At first, they had different ideas about how to interpret the script. When Maïwenn chose to film the movie without making the changes Depp suggested, he felt offended.

She saw these disagreements as a chance to create intense emotions in a dark scene.

Additionally, Maïwenn revealed that there were occasions when Depp didn't arrive on set as expected and had high expectations of being treated like a revered figure at all times. 

She acknowledged that filming with him posed challenges, as his behavior was unpredictable and his sense of humor differed from the crew's. 

"I have to be honest. It’s difficult to shoot with him... All the crew were scared because he has a different kind of humour and we didn’t know if he was going to be on time, or if he was going to be OK to say his lines...

"I mean, even if he was there on set, on time, the crew were afraid of him," the director revealed.

Despite their previously pleasant relationship, Maïwenn expressed that communication with Depp has become difficult, and their connection has been strained since the shoot.

She admitted having no regret about choosing him for the role.

In conclusion, Maïwenn admitted that Johnny Depp is a tremendously talented individual but seems to exist in a different realm. 

She expressed her inability to effectively communicate with him. However, she emphasized that she had no regrets about selecting him for the role.
