On social media, many customers expressed their fury after the bill of Five Guys was shared on the Internet

A customer shared a fast-food receipt on social media with a whopping total of $24.10 for a meal for one.

The bill shows a bacon cheeseburger priced at $12.49, a regular soda for $2.89, and a portion of fries costing $5.19.

A second wrote: I won't eat there. It's ridiculous. There's nothing that special about their burgers.

While a third commented: The biggest problem, is people keep paying for it. They open in locations where people have more money than sense.

Someone else said: I want to know why they are adding a tip when it's fast food?????

The incident sparked debate on social media, and then Five Guy's CEO, Jerry Murrel, shared the reason why Five Guy is expensive.

Additionally, he explained that regardless of the size ordered, each serving receives an extra scoop.

For instance, a small fry can easily feed one to two people, a regular fry can satisfy two to four, and a large fry can satiate four to six. By recommending a smaller fry portion to customers, Henix helps them save some cash while providing the perception of a generous serving.

Henix explained that the label pertains only to the number of patties, not the overall size of the sandwich.

While standard burgers come with two patties, the "little" versions feature a single patty. Opting for the smaller option doesn't mean receiving a tiny burger; it simply means less meat. However, customers can compensate for this by loading up on free toppings, maximizing flavor and satisfaction.

In the pursuit of budget-friendly dining, Henix's tips offer a practical approach to making your Five Guys experience more affordable without sacrificing taste.

So, if you're eager to enjoy your favorite burgers while being mindful of your wallet, these insider strategies are worth considering.
