Former Walmart employee took revenge on workplace after being unexpectedly fired

Monday, 18/12/2023, 18:01 (GMT+7)

After being abruptly fired from their job, a former Walmart employee sought revenge by causing mess and disruption at their former workplace.

Former Walmart worker, Ray, took matters into his own hands after being fired without notice, expressing frustration through a viral TikTok video.

The story gained significant attention after a video filming their revenge went viral.

User Ray (@raymeetsworid) shared a TikTok video showing their return as a customer, aiming to show their dissatisfaction with words instead of actions.

The video's title says, "POV: The petty worker going back to the job that fired them."

Ray, a former Walmart employee, made a conspicuous return to the store, pushing a cart, but with no intention of shopping.

Driven by frustration, Ray stated, "They fired me on short notice, so you know I have to come back and make a mess."

Ray wandered along the aisles, sizing up the places for his mischief and making remarks about how well-trained the staff members were in keeping the toy department organized.

He started pulling everything off the shelves and laying them out on the ground. One particularly huge pumpkin was added to the pile of "unwanted" products.

Ray took to a small tricycle and intentionally placed it on the store's bike rack, along with another pumpkin, as his playful antics persisted.

Ray spoke out, asserting their rights as a paying customer, "I'm a paying customer; I can do whatever I want."

Ray further exhibited his playful disruption in the workout equipment section by playing with different weights and misplacing them.

Finally, he even rode a stationary bike that was positioned atop a high shelf.

Ray also spoke sarcastically about his work habits, saying that he regularly left early, arrived late, and had long lunch breaks despite still managing to finish the responsibilities assigned to their department.

Ray explained in a second video that their original plan was only to make a mess for laughs.

Remarkably, another customer imitated Ray's behavior by leaving things on the ground.

Ray said, "Imma put this back where it goes," admitting his responsibility, and then he cleaned up the mess he had created.

The video garnered mixed reactions in the comments section.

Some viewers found amusement in Ray's perspective, appreciating the humor even if it was a light-hearted act of revenge.

Even though I hate Walmart (they did me wrong) I couldn't do this to the employees now management would be a different story, one user said.

Me years later after leaving Walmart, the second joked.

I would do the same to Walmart after how they treated me, another replied.

Nah this ain't it. It's not gonna be management that fixes it, it's gonna be another employee who didn't do anything to you, someone wrote.
