In the video on Tiktok, the worker, who goes by @mrbrotei, appeared to be using a computer while dressed in a full suit and tie. He looks around and makes a “what?” expression with his hands.

He posted the video on TikTok, revealing that he had to be in the office instead of working from home, although he can control everything remotely. So, he revenges his boss by deleting Teams and emails from his phone.

“No WFH means no WFH,” the caption reads.

In the text overlay, he wrote: “My job recently told me I’m not allowed to work from home; even though I do everything remotely, they want me in the office. So I deleted Teams and email from my phone.'

He said, "He asked why, and I explained what I was told. I am not allowed to work from home."

The video quickly went viral on social media; several users criticized him for not taking responsibility for his job, while others said that they used to seek revenge on their boss for similar actions.

The video has garnered more than 4.2 million views and over 2,600 comments, sparking serious discussion.

One person said: My boss keeps scheduling mandatory in-person meetings on my work-from-home days. I’m taking notes from you.

A second wrote: I did something similar. turned in the company-provided laptop was removed from cell phone reimbursement, so I blocked them.

TikToker reportedly employed a scenario, though, that first went viral on Reddit. 

However, the truth behind it is that TikTok used a scenario that originally appeared in a widely shared post on the r/antiwork subreddit and was reposted on TikTok.
