A teenager who was making more money selling pictures of her feet online decided to give up her full-time job.
Jessie Tyron, an 18-year-old from Essex, spends only thirty minutes a day taking pictures while wearing shoes, socks, or bare feet. She sells the photos for at least £3 apiece.
The former cashier reports a monthly income of £1,000, significantly higher than her daily wage before working.
Jessie said: "This is my current main source of income, as it makes really good money. I earn a lot more than I did when I was going out to work."
After hearing jokes about the money-making plan from her peers, the teenager decided to give it a try.
She utilizes social media to connect with potential buyers who can request specific footwear.
Jessie said: "I always heard people joke about it, so I decided to look into it, and after watching some videos on it, I made a Snapchat and added people who seemed interested in buying feet content.
"I usually get a message asking if I sell content, then I will ask them what they want and then negotiate what types of pictures they want to see.
"Whether I'm wearing shoes, socks, or nothing, and then we will discuss payment, once they send the payment, I give them the pictures."
The girl stated that her standard price for a picture is £3, which may vary depending on the level of effort required to capture the image.
Jessie said: "The standard price is £3 for one picture or £8 for a bundle of three - this varies on what the customer wants, depending on the amount of effort it takes me such as putting on heels and socks - the price will then increase.
"I plan on doing this for as long as people buy it; it makes me extra money and requires minimal effort!
"Some of my buyers will buy me pedicures and shoes; I've been pampered a lot more than I usually would be.
"It can be quite uncomfortable speaking to some people on my many social media platforms, as sometimes people may ask me to do disturbing and gross stuff, but I happily block them as I have very strict boundaries, selling only my feet."
