This is proof that in a viral video on social media, a restaurant worker was fired on her first day as the boss caught her filming a TikTok dance.
The 13-second clip in the video went viral, gaining 21.7 million views and 5,000 comments. The video showed that a content creator, who is known as Ashley Barnes (@ashleyb4253), filmed her dancing in a TikTok video. She was seen wearing her workplace uniform with a pink t-shirt and black pants.
The footage shows that she places her phone on the kitchen counter, where she works. Then, she starts to film herself dancing a typical Tiktok dance.
Then, Ashley finds herself in an unlucky situation when the supervisor walks into the frame. The video has no sound, so the viewers can't hear the conversation between them. However, the viewer can see her surprise when the boss appears.
In the caption of the video, Ashley explained to the viewer what happened to her. She wrote: “Sigh, I didn’t know the boss would come in the kitchen.”
Then Ashley said that she was fired when the boss accused her of the offense.
She explained with the text overlay, saying: “POV: I already got fired (I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to film).”
Just hours before being fired, she uploaded a new video and announced that she had gotten a new job.
In the following video, she is seen wearing the same pink and black uniform as she pours coffee with the new job. The text overlays the video, saying: “POV, Ashley Barnes finally got a real job.”
In the video, numerous people express surprise at her dancing while working. They support the boss, noting that Ashley didn't comply with regulations in the service industry, where there is a strict no-phones-on-the-floor policy
