Reportedly, Reynolds, who has over 4.8 million subscribers on YouTube, paid the woman $20 to help her locate an RFID scanner during a "Scavenger Hunt" event organized by Paul 'Ice Poseidon'.
Reynolds said, "Do you know where the RFID scanner is? Because I'm trying to find this RFID scanner, and I have to go kayaking."
"Ice Poseidon told me you swim in the water. You should jump in the water right now and start swimming to find it."
"Can you do that? Just jump in the water and help me find it. I'll pay you $20. Yeah, that's a good deal."
The incident was live-streamed at Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday (May 29th).
According to Sportskeeda, the 25-year-old influencer was asked to leave the area.
Reynolds claimed she couldn't assist the woman and explained that she was instructed to leave and not film.
She questioned whether her actions were truly bad and mentioned that the woman wanted to jump in and skinny dip with her.
The video ends with Reynolds and her friends driving away from the scene while an ambulance arrives.
Reynolds later defended herself in another livestream, stating that she left following the instructions of her team. She claimed that the incident would be forgotten within a week.
