A New York man was offered three months of rent paid by a billionaire, but only if he agreed to one eerie condition.
In an incident, a billionaire has agreed to cover a stranger’s rent in New York City for 3 months.
However, in return, the renter must follow one specific condition.
This unusual story has caught the attention of many, especially on social media.
The man reveals his weird offer on TikTok
Flavio, a resident of Manhattan, recently shared his experience on TikTok.
In his video, which gained a lot of views and likes, he explained how he found himself in this unique situation.
The story begins with a massive mansion being built near his home, valued at around $50 million.
Flavio noticed a famous billionaire walking around the area a few months ago, and this encounter set the stage for what happened next.
He said: “There’s this mega-mansion they’re building in front of my street. And it’s, like, worth, like, $50 million.
“And then, [a few months ago], I saw this billionaire that is very famous. And he was walking around the block.”
The strange billionaire offered to cover the man’s rent with one condition.
One day, Flavio received a letter slipped under his door.
The letter claimed to be from the billionaire, mentioning that family members were moving into the mansion soon.
It also stated that they needed Flavio and his partner to temporarily leave their apartment during certain times.
He continued: “Basically, the letter just said, ‘There’s family members of this person that are joining your community.
They’re moving in this weekend… and this other weekend something else is happening at their house.'”
This request puzzled them at first, as it seemed quite unusual.
The letter took an interesting turn, stating the billionaire knew Flavio’s rent and offered to cover one month.
The letter went on to say: “We’ve contacted your landlord, we know how much rent you pay. We’re willing and able to cover, like, one month’s rent.”
The man asked the billionaire for 3-month rent
Flavio thought about the offer but, after researching the billionaire’s wealth, he decided to negotiate.
He contacted the billionaire’s team and asked if they could cover three months of rent instead.
To Flavio’s surprise, the billionaire agreed to his request!
However, there was a condition: Flavio had to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
This meant he could not reveal the billionaire’s identity or any details about their arrangement.
Despite this stipulation, Flavio felt confident enough to share his story on TikTok, believing he had nothing to worry about.

Thats insane! How amazing – I wonder how they would know if you actually left the apartment though, another wrote.
However, not everyone was supportive.
Some TikTok users warned him about the potential risks of sharing too much information online.
They cautioned him that the billionaire might take back the money or pursue legal action if he violated the agreement.
I would double-check the conditions of your NDA because you did not mention any names which is good, but they can take you to court for the amount they gave you plus some, one user said.
They will literally not only take it back, but then come after you for violating, the second user said.
The man confirmed he received the payment
In a follow-up video, Flavio addressed these concerns.
He explained that he had already received the payment and was not worried about any backlash.
He also highlighted how much money could be made on TikTok by simply being yourself and sharing your story.
Flavio mentioned that his viral video had already earned him over $5,200, which was an unexpected bonus.
