Comedian Marlon Wayans has spoken out sharply against Elon Musk, condemning how the billionaire has treated his transgender daughter.

During the Sept. 10 episode of the “Club Shay Shay” podcast, Wayans shared his anger over Musk’s comments about his 20-year-old daughter.
The comedian, 52, expressed his frustration with Musk’s remarks, saying, “I don’t like what he be saying about his trans child.”
Wayans went on to say, “It made me mad. You don’t treat them babies like that, you don’t disown your baby.”

Wayans offered some advice to the Tesla billionaire: “Love your child.”
Additionally, he also emphasized the importance of acceptance in the relationship between parents and their children, particularly when it comes to gender identity.

The ‘White Chicks” star also shared his personal journey toward accepting his son Kai’s transition. Marlon spoke about going through the “five stages of grief” and noted that it took him a week to reach acceptance, though he acknowledged it felt much longer.
“I’m proud to say it took me a week — but it felt like forever. l’m sad to say some parents, some family members, and some people it’ll take them a lifetime.” Wayans explained.
He added, They’ll never get to that magical place that I’m at which is just acceptance. [He’s] still my child. That’s my baby.” For Wayans, acceptance meant acknowledging that his child is still his baby, regardless of gender.

He also admitted that he struggled with being “the last to know” about Kai’s transition, as his ex-partner, Angela Zackery, had recognized signs earlier than he did.

Musk, 53, made headlines in 2022 after his daughter, then a teenager, legally changed her name and gender. She also adopted her mother’s surname, stating that she no longer wished to be related to Musk in any way.
In response to the estrangement, Musk joked to *Financial Times* in October 2022, saying, “You can’t win them all.” Later, he commented on the situation again, claiming that Vivian had been “killed by the woke-mind virus” in a July 2023 interview with ‘The Daily Wire”.

Vivian responded strongly to her father’s accusations, calling them “entirely fake.” She also made headlines for her defiant remark, celebrating her resilience: “I look pretty good for a dead bitch.”
Since then, she has openly criticized Musk. In August, she called him a “serial adulterer,” and earlier this month, she referred to him as a “heinous incel” after he made controversial comments about Taylor Swift.
