Back in the year 2000, not only did they meet, but they were also captured together by the same photographer, a fact they remained unaware of until they got married.
Their destinies converged when Mr. Ye traveled to Qingdao with a tour group, while Ms. Xue visited the city with her mother.
They were reported to have posed in front of a red sculpture in a town square in Qingdao, East China; however, more than a decade later, they made this astonishing discovery.
When Mr. Ye, 35, was tidying the study room at his mother-in-law's house, he discovered an amazing picture. He spotted himself in an old holiday photo of his wife, Ms. Xue, in 2000.
He immediately returned home and found his holiday picture, which was captured on July 28, 2000.
As he compared the two pictures, he was left shocked after realizing that he was posing in front of the same landmark in Qingdao while his wife was sitting in the same picture.
Mr. Ye exclaimed, 'I was looking at the picture where my wife was sitting in front of the May Four Square; there's also a man standing far back. My reaction was, "Oh, wait, that was me!"
According to Chengdu Business Daily, the couple said that they were shocked when they noticed the same young boy, dressed in black pants and a blue T-shirt, appearing in both photos in the same pose.
The couple felt it was destiny.
They shared the pictures with their friends, and most of them believed that the couple was destined for each other.
The first time they met was through his friends in 2011. A year later, they got married and even had their wedding photo taken in Qingdao.
