On socia media, a server expressed frustration toward a customer who refused to tip on a taked order totaling $650.

Nowadays, tipping is a topic of debate surrounding social media. Many discussions revolve around whether tipping should be considered obligatory or contingent upon exceptional service.

Many suggest that they always tip when they use a delivery service; however, some others claim that they don't tip because the delivery person receives a salary for their job, and tipping is not necessary for their task.

On social media, the incident occoured as a customer purchased a substantial amount of takeaway food without leaving a tip.

On the video on Tiktok, a waiter alleged revenge on customer who didn't tip on $650 order.

On Tiktok platform, a Tiktoker, Dean Redmonds,  who knowns as a server took to TikTok to recount an encounter with a woman who failed to tip him and his colleagues on a $650 takeout order.

In the footage, Dean recounted that the customers  placed large other of 50 items at 9:00 am, necessitating a 30-minute delay.

Addionally, the customer also responded dismissively before arriving at the restaurant at 9:30 am.

The incident occurred when the kitchen staff put effort into fulfilling the extensive order. As a result, the customer not only refused to leave a tip but also criticized the food and left a negative review.

Accoring to Dean, the custmer arrived at the restaurant and confronted one of Dean's coworkers. Identifying himself as the one who spoke with her on the phone, he recalled her refusal to grant an additional 30 minutes for preparation.

The customer then compare her experience to other restaurant and left negative review.

In the footage, Dean says: "Not $5, not $2, nothing. No thank yous, leaves. Forty minutes later I got a tap on my back, I turn around, I almost jump when I see her. She's like, 'Is there a reason you gave us all dry sandwiches? No ketchup, no hot sauce, no mustard?'

The customer then complaining about the sandwiches lacking condiments.

In response, Dean and his team retaliated by leaving positive reviews with the customer's name on Google.

This incident has sparked widespread discussion and garnered attention from various perspectives.

One person said: As soon as I saw a $600 order, I would have said I’m sorry you need to contact our catering team.

A second wrote: Ridiculous it’s a takeout order. What service is she tipping for exactly? Preparing the food isn’t service it’s what she paid for. Tipping is completely out of control right now.

While a third commented: Tips are a reward for good service. Without actually having read/watched this, I'm guessing from his attitude there was a good reason why he wasn't tipped.

Someone else said: Some people haven't learned the Art of Giving....The more you give the more you receive...I tip everyone I can even Curbside Walmart..Grocery Stores....etc...my life has been abundant....

Another added: yall going crazy over the "no tip" but yall would go CRAZY if a restaurant turned your order away. those poor workers were NOT getting paid enough.
