China’s ‘most inconvenient convenience store’ hangs off the side of a cliff, leaving people in fear

Perched on the side of a steep cliff face in China's Shiniuzhai National Geological Park, there exists a tiny shop that has earned the moniker of the most "inconvenient convenience store".

 This quaint wooden shed stands at a vertigo-inducing 120 meters (394 feet) above the ground in the Shiniuzhai National Geological Park in Hunan province. This is a place that provides refreshments to intrepid climbers.

According to Chinese media, workers reportedly use ziplines to restock the store's shelves daily, and only one staff member occupies the store at any given time

According to CNN, One blogger on the Chinese social network Weibo humorously dubbed it "the most inconvenient convenience store" in the country.

As reported by China Daily, Song Huizhou, Shiniuzhai Park's general manager, claimed that the journey up the cliff to the store takes about 90 minutes, 

Staff members are entrusted with the daily task of transporting supplies to the store, highlighting the logistical challenges they face.

Despite the convenience it offers, some social media posts have characterized the store's location as 'beyond genius' and 'absolutely terrifying.'

According to videos circulating on Chinese social media, staffers also handed out free mooncakes in tiny red boxes to climbers during the Mid-Autumn festival.
