A passenger was baffled after capturing a 'Flying Cylinder' over LaGuardia Airport
Michelle Reyes, a passenger on a flight over New York City, was baffled after capturing a 'Flying Cylinder' over LaGuardia Airport.
She claimed to have witnessed a possible UFO.
She captured a video from her window seat, showing a 'flying cylinder' whizzing by as she traveled over LaGuardia Airport.
She told NewsNation that she observed the black object moving at high speeds, much faster than the airplane.
After the incident, Reyes reported the video to both Enigma Labs and the National UFO database.
Reyes reported her sighting to the FAA and has yet to receive a response.
Additionally, She also sent the footage to Enigma Labs and the National UFO database.
Her father, a former member of the US Navy, speculated the object could be a drone but was surprised by its close proximity to the airplane.
A mysterious video of Reyes appeared on NewsNation to discuss.
After the incident, Ben Hansen, host of Discovery's UFO Witness, appeared on NewsNation to discuss the video.
He found no evidence of a hoax and noted the object's clarity and proximity to the airplane.
'I found no evidence that she faked this or hoaxed it,' said Hansen.
'I didn't from the beginning, but we had to run it through the proper data analysis.
'It's there, it's very clear, which is unusual.'
The video was then shared on social media and sparked a debate about UFO phenomena
It was reported that the video had been shared last month, but it was 'stolen' and reposted by others.
Below the video, many suggested it was an insect caught on camera. However, Hansen pointed out that the airplane had to be flying at more than 200 miles per hour, making this unlikely.
While some others suggested the object might be a drone.
One person said: You know you’re in trouble when the Aliens begin leaving the Earth, and don’t care if we see them or not.
A second wrote: If it was a drone, the FAA would be VERY interested as this would be a major violation of the new laws.
While a third commented: ufo passenger: is it ok to fly next to human aircraft? ufo pilot: nah its ok....its so fast they won't even notice.
Another added: "There's UFO's over New York and I ain't too surprised".
This is not the first time mysterious UFO sightings have left viewers baffled.
Previously, NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) captured images of a long, narrow object orbiting the moon.
Some theories even suggest the involvement of extraterrestrial visitors. It is believed that a mysterious object, possibly a surfboard-shaped UFO, is whizzing across the moon's surface.
The mysterious video sparked speculation about its origins.
The mysterious object turned out to be Korea's Danuri Orbiter.
Mysterious phenomena other than UFOs have also been captured in the Texas sky during the solar eclipse.
A video shared on social media showed the shadow of a long and narrow object darting through the clouds at a fast pace while the moon moved in front of the sun, sparking debate about UFO phenomena.
