In times when a napkin isn't readily accessible, the person standing closest to the little one might unintentionally become a makeshift napkin, regardless of their attire's value or expense.

This is why numerous individuals seem to be reacting strongly to an adorable video that showcases a young girl, a toddler, wiping her face on a bride's dress.

Many are shocked after witnessing a video in which a young child uses a bride's pristine white dress to clean their face due to the absence of a napkin.

Fortunately, the bride handled the situation with grace and started laughing at the embarrassing turn of events.

On TikTok, a five-second clip went viral, having been viewed 1.6 million times, sparking controversy with the caption:  “Do not recommend serving ketchup with the chicken nuggets and fries for the kiddie meal…or just don’t invite kids.”

One person said: Children all around the world seem to be able to act normal at weddings, except in countries where "child free weddings" are a thing. I've been to many weddings and never has a child ruined one  I've seen how they made new friends and enjoyed themselves just like they would do in any other environment. So, in which countries kids are not taught how to behave anymore?

A second wrote: Everyone's situations are different. Do what's best for you. It's the married couple's day they should make the call. Some people can't control their kids others can. Some events can cause sensory overload for kids. Some kids are accident-prone, have health issues, or are just grubby.

A third added: On my wedding, no one will eat twice, once you get food we shave your hair for identification

Someone else said: I wish I only let my closest family come (nieces and nephews) sadly other people couldn't look after their kids because they wanted to drink and it made the day very stressful.

Another said: Honestly, these crack me up. I’ve been to many weddings and ones with children and I have NEVER in my life witnessed a child being so badly behaved. EVERY parent, if they bring a child to a wedding, has to be responsible for their child’s behavior.

This isn't the first time the internet has debated whether children should be present at wedding ceremonies.

In another instance, a bride threatened to kick the groom’s 6-year-old nephew out of her wedding for wearing white attire.

Reddit users ignited intense debates after a man stated he was refusing to attend his sister’s child-free wedding ceremony.
