On TikTok platform, a waitress found herself at the center of a viral sensation after capturing a man dining with a blow-u doll, leaving viewers stunned.
A viral video on social media showed an unusual sight.
On TikTok, a user who goes by @t_bjork shared a video of an unusual incident.
On May 27, Tara Bjork, a server at the Restoration Hardware Rooftop Restaurant in Charlotte, posted a TikTok video depicting a situation too extraordinary not to share.
The video has the caption:"No words"
In the footage, a man was spotted dining with a blow-up doll, leaving viewers stunned.
The video featured a male diner seated across from an inflatable female doll. The doll, seen with yellow-blonde hair and dressed in a black sleeveless gown, sat propped up on the chair opposite the man.
The man was even seen feeding grapes to the doll, adding to the surreal nature of the scene.
The video quickly amassed over a million views and sparked debate on social media.
In the comments section, many expressed their shock about the unique dinner, while someone explained that the date was a humorous consequence of losing a fantasy football bet.
One person said: The fact that he’s on his phone, ignoring her too
A second wrote: I need to know what she ordered.
While a third commented: Sent this to my friend and said “this looks like your boyfriend” and IT LITERALLY IS HIM
Someone else said: “And what to drink for the lady?!”
I work for a restaurant. I approve of you making this TT. That’s all that matters. Also WHAT. Another user added.
Another said: I would commit to the bit and wait on them with absolute seriousness, like "and for the lady?"
In the following video, Bjork admitted that she was fired.
She said in a follow-up video that she had anticipated this outcome, noting that she was either going to receive no views or face termination if the video blew up.
“[I] knew one of two things was going to happen, it would get no views and I would be fine or, it would blow up and I would be fired,” she said.
Despite the firing, Bjork remained optimistic, expressing readiness for new opportunities.
After the incident, a man in the footage responds to Bjork's video.
The man in the video eventually responded, posting his own video on his Papi Chulo TikTok account. He revealed that the unconventional dinner date was payback for losing a Fantasy Football bet. His images showed him smiling across the table from the blow-up doll, captioning it with a wry "Tough date'.
This is not the first time a worker was fired after sharing a video on social media.
Previously, a McDonald's employee was fired after sharing kitchen secrets on how they cook eggs on TikTok.
On social media, a McDonald's employee known as @austin.martinn gained attention on TikTok by revealing kitchen secrets. Austin’s video demonstrated the process of making McDonald's McMuffin eggs, showcasing the use of real eggs and a specialized cooking machine.
The video went viral and shed light on McDonald's egg preparation process. However, like Bjork, Austin faced repercussions for sharing behind-the-scenes content.
After going viral, he was fired.
Inclusion: both Bjork and Austin highlight the risks employees take when posting workplace videos online.
Although these videos can provide entertainment and insight, they often lead to unintended consequences.
