Lurking in the murky waters, these terrifying shark statues have left divers scared.
A video of underwater explorers encountering these petrifying props has circulated on social media.
In the footage, this monstrous model showcases a chilling grin, with massive jaws and pectoral fins that create the illusion of flight. Positioned at the lakebed in Romandy, it appears to float thanks to its supporting structure, causing divers to double-take in panic.

Some have speculated that it might have been placed there by a prankster aiming to convince locals that the movie "Jaws" represents a real-life threat.
Sharp-eyed Reddit users managed to identify the shark statue, which was used as a prop in the 1975 film "Choc au Lac!" – a project involving 176 kids from Neuchâtel.
However, even these amateur detectives couldn't figure out how the fiberglass, 20-foot-long replica ended up at the bottom of the lake. Suspicions include that it was dumped there as a prank, as an unofficial tourist attraction, or to generate excitement for an unfinished film.
Despite the intrigue, most social media users are less than eager to venture down to the depths, even if it's just to see a statue.
