A woman ignites controversy by raising her daughter to become a 'traditional wife'— depending on a man.

Today, inequality still exists between men and women, prompting various social groups to advocate for gender equality. As a result, more and more women are free to pursue their careers,  take ownership of their lives, and have a voice in society.

In modern families, parents always want the best for their children, encouraging them to pursue their dreams.

However, some women wish to retain traditional gender roles within the family as a matter of custom.

A stay-at-home mother in Australia has sparked debate after stating that she is raising her daughter to be a 'traditional wife' and dependent on her future husband.

She added the caption to the video: 'In a world full of women teaching their children that their only goal is to go to university, get a good job and make money, I'm teaching my little girl to live a slow life, to be a biblical women that wants a husband and a beautiful family that she can serve daily.'

Below the video, numerous viewers are quick to condemn what they perceive as Jasmine's desire to control her daughter's life.

She was criticized for her old-fashioned parenting style, and some pointed out that a woman 'serving' her husband could be considered 'anti-feminist,' while being a stay-at-home mom is not wrong.

One person said: Teach our children to decide for themselves what they want out of life and guide them through it.

A second wrote: I'll teach my daughter to become whatever she wants but to always have a backup plan... never depend 100% on anybody.

While a third commented: It is perfectly acceptable for a girl to CHOOSE to be a wife and mum. Thank goodness her daughter gets to go to school and learn, see, and experience other families and their choices. No one lives in a vacuum.

Someone else said: I will teach my child to do whatever makes her happy. that can be a career or a family.
