In the post, she asked the community if anyone could identify these objects and explain why they kept appearing in her house.

"Does anyone have any idea what these are and why I am finding them daily in my house? They look like and are as hard as pebbles, but we have nothing like it in the garden," she wrote.

Members of the community offered various speculations about the mysterious items

One person said,It turns out the rocks were falling from a small hole in her family's heat pack.

A second wrote: Usually dogs have this kind of bug attached to their skin when they are not kept clean.

A third commented: Don't look like kidney stones I passed, and I've passed stones for many years or had them removed.

Someone else said, Have you got a pebbled garden? And a dog. Our dog picked them up on his feet. We find them most days.

Heat pads used to keep animals, insects, tropical fish, etc. contain little pellets that look very similar. Maybe you have had a delivery of live animals lately? Another added.

"Mysterious 'pebbles' are heat packs filled with identical grains.

She even posted a picture of one of these peculiar 'pebbles' in her hand. Later, she learned that these were, in fact, small rocks falling out of a hole in her heat pack.

However, one user finally pointed out that the mother should check her heat packs, as similar grains are often used as filler.

The mother was then surprised by that suggestion and admitted that she hadn't considered checking the heat pack.

About an hour after the recommendation, she posted a picture of the incriminating heat pack, filled with identical grains.

She noted: 'For everyone playing along... I checked out heat pack and there is a hole,'
